We are looking for an experienced Buyer (m/f/d) for the product group Fish and Seafood, with professional experience in the food wholesale industry.

Your tasks:
  • Responsible for the product group "Fish and Seafood"
  • Responsibility for strategic purchasing, both nationally and internationally
  • Identification and development of supplier relationships to ensure constant and high-quality product availability
  • Analysis of market trends and price developments to optimize the purchasing portfolio
  • Negotiation of contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers

Your Profile
  • Completed commercial training, ideally in the field of purchasing or food industry
  • Several years of professional experience in the purchase of fish and seafood, preferably in wholesale
  • Well-established network in the food industry, both in Germany and internationally
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and experience in price management
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work approach
  • Good knowledge of English; additional foreign languages are an advantage

Your Tasks
  • Office organization: Ensuring smooth operations in the office and premises, including organizing office supplies, room arrangements, beverage service, mail management, and general administrative tasks.
  • Meeting preparation: Organizing and coordinating meetings, including room reservations, preparation of documents, catering, and taking minutes.
  • Appointment scheduling for the management: Efficient coordination of appointments.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
