Company History
Convinced by the idea of inspiring the restaurateurs of the capital with regional products from the area surrounding Berlin, Michael Kunzmann founded his family business Havelland Express more than 30 years ago. What began at the time with supplying selected food products to individual customers has developed over the years into an internationally operating company.

Reflecting this level of freshness in our logistics is an ambitious goal that we commit to every single day. With our own vehicles and our long-standing partner carriers, we deliver six days a week and at reliably agreed times.
Corporate Philosophy
As a family-run company, we focus on closeness – to our producers, to the products, and to the people behind them. Many of our partners are small, traditional businesses with whom we share a deep relationship of trust. Together, we develop sustainable concepts that place animal welfare and a respectful use of resources at the center. We believe that quality is created where responsibility is lived – and where people know each other. That is why we know exactly where our products come from and how they are produced. This closeness enables us to identify trends early on and discover special products that inspire. In this way, we bring not only flavor but also values to the plate.
