To maintain and continuously develop these high standards, we provide our employees with regular training and undergo external certification processes. For us, quality is synonymous with trust. That is why we promote a strong awareness of food and its origins, with product provenance playing a central role. Transparency is important to us: we follow the principle of sourcing and producing the highest possible quality as close to its origin as possible, whether for our specialties from the Havelland region or for our international product range.
The responsible use of resources, transparent supply chains, and the continuous improvement of our processes are integral parts of our company’s development. Our processes are reviewed on a regular basis. In the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating, Havelland Express achieved 69 out of 100 points in July 2026. In addition, we operate in the respective designated areas according to certified quality standards such as IFS.

Bio Certificate
Products that carry the BIO quality and inspection seal come from organic farming. The seal is awarded only in accordance with strict requirements and guidelines. Products with the BIO seal are produced according to the principles of organic agriculture, which means they are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way and in harmony with nature. This certification guarantees a high level of product quality and complies with strict EU regulations for organic farming. Animal husbandry follows species-appropriate practices, and the products are subject to regular inspections to ensure compliance with the standards.

We were awarded bronze in the ecoVadis sustainability rating.
