Founded 25 years ago by Pedro Bastos, this family business from the south of Portugal claims to supply only the world's top gastronomes, including many Michelin-starred kitchens, with its products. Caught in Albufeira, just off the coast of the Algarve, only the best seafood is selected by our fishmonger for further processing into high-quality products. As a qualified biochemist, the owner attaches particular importance to the high quality of his products. Under the strictest standards of quality control, safety and hygiene, only flawless goods leave his business.

FROM FRESHLY CAUGHT TO DEEP-FROZEN
While our fishmonger's core business has so far been supplying its freshly caught seafood products directly to restaurants and hotels, carefully selected wholesalers are now also able to enjoy its goods. We are delighted to be one of Nutrifresco's preferred distributors and offer you their line of frozen fish in addition to the aforementioned fresh products.

Pedro and his team are particularly interested in sustainable fishing and the careful use of marine resources. In this context, he is involved in various maritime research and development projects and shares the knowledge he has gained at international forums and congresses.
