In the heart of Dresden’s Baroque Quarter, where history and elegance meet, Sven Vogel — Head Chef of the renowned Restaurant Caroussel Nouvelle at Bülow Palais — stands for a cuisine that masterfully unites tradition and innovation. His dishes are not only expressions of culinary craftsmanship, but reflections of his passion for sustainable enjoyment and creative composition. At the 26th BUSCHE GALA, Sven Vogel was honored as one of Germany’s TOP 50 chefs — an award based on the Schlemmer Atlas rating and a tribute to his innovation and commitment to sustainability. What sets Vogel apart is not only his skill at the stove, but also his mindset: he sees the restaurant as a “public living room” — a place of togetherness, enjoyment, and shared experience. His cuisine is guided by seasonality, regionality, and respect for the product — values that shine through in every dish. In July 2025, an exclusive video shoot took place at Bülow Palais, where Vogel presented a signature dish featuring Aquanaria Loup de Mer — a Mediterranean‑inspired sea bass known for its fine texture and aromatic depth.
