Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin
Elegance, history and culinary excellence at the Brandenburg Gate
The Hotel Adlon Kempinski is far more than a luxury hotel – it is a Berlin institution with over 100 years of history. Situated directly on Pariser Platz with a view of the Brandenburg Gate, the Adlon seamlessly combines tradition and modernity at the highest level.
The culinary diversity at the Adlon is impressive. Under the direction of Executive Chef Stephan Eberhard and a dedicated kitchen team, the hotel offers exceptional cuisine across several outlets – from fine dining at “Esszimmer” to elegant breakfast and lunch at “Quarré” and creative banquet solutions for large events.

Working closely with Executive Chef Stephan Eberhard, Rico not only oversees the daily execution of demanding menus but also the creative external presentation of the cuisine, ensuring it meets the high standards of the Adlon.
With his refined taste, commitment to quality, and eye for detail, Rico Kägebein plays a decisive role in positioning the Adlon as one of Berlin’s leading culinary destinations. The kitchen philosophy of the house is deeply rooted in sustainability: regional products, responsible sourcing, and mindful use of resources are firmly anchored and reflected in every dish.
Traditional classics such as currywurst made from apple pork or Müritz pike-perch with cress from the Flavour Garden are reinterpreted in refined and creative ways. Expertly prepared, artistically presented, and always regionally grounded, the Adlon continuously surprises its guests with culinary highlights that feel both familiar and innovative.
