Le Consulat

Where regional finesse meets Berlin charm

Hidden in the charming Leibnizstraße lies a culinary gem that has quickly secured its place in Berlin’s restaurant scene: Le Consulat. Anyone seeking a place where French refinement meets down‑to‑earth Berlin cuisine will find exactly that here – and be delighted.

The special atmosphere is evident the moment you enter. Warm colors, stylish interior design and a touch of Parisian bistro flair create an inviting setting that makes you feel welcome right away. The cuisine is a homage to modern German and European cooking – refined yet approachable, ensuring that every palate is satisfied.

Le Consulat harmoniously blends the best of both worlds and invites guests to embark on a culinary journey full of flavor and atmosphere.

Raul Hennig – regional freshness and modern elegance

A creative signature in Berlin’s dining scene

With his sensitivity for flavor balance, regional ingredients and contemporary elegance, Head Chef Raul Hennig shapes the culinary identity of Berlin’s Le Consulat. Since the restaurant’s new direction, he has been responsible for the innovative farm‑to‑table concept characterized by seasonal creations and ingredients from Brandenburg, the North Sea and across Germany.

Previously, Raul Hennig gained valuable experience as Chef de Partie at the Steigenberger Hotel in Bremen, where he refined his skills in upscale gastronomy and established himself as a committed station chef. His passion for regional products, his innovative spirit and his fine touch for flavor compositions delight not only guests but also inspire his team to achieve top performance.

It fills us with great pride to be a partner of such a creative and dedicated restaurant, one that enriches Berlin’s culinary scene with its clear philosophy and commitment to quality.
