The Coral

Fusion dining with depth

In the vibrant heart of Charlottenburg, right at the KANTdreieck and overlooking an artificial waterfall, restaurateur Marcel Voß opened a new culinary hotspot in June 2024: The Coral. This venue is far more than a conventional restaurant – it is an experience that unites design, flavor, and atmosphere in a unique way.

The entrance immediately surprises: no striking sign, but a nearly hidden stairway reminiscent of a subway station. Yet once you descend the steps, a world opens up that evokes an avant‑garde coral reef. Designer Ramona Portugalov crafted an interior using granite, marble, onyx, and premium textiles – a space that both calms and inspires.

Domenique Rudloff – Sharing concept with Japanese‑Italian finesse

A modern fusion approach

Under the direction of Domenique Rudloff, the kitchen combines Italian and Japanese flavors into a modern sharing concept. Instead of classic courses, guests encounter a variety of small, perfectly coordinated dishes: beef tartare with wild herbs, hamachi with ponzu, or short ribs – each one a small work of art.

In addition to taste and design, Domenique Rudloff and his team place great importance on sustainability. Regional and seasonal ingredients, conscious use of resources, and the avoidance of food waste are central principles of their approach. We are delighted to contribute to this vision as a food supplier and partner of The Coral.
