DITHMARSCHER GEFLÜGEL

For more than 150 years, the "Dithmarscher Gans" breeding line has been the epitome of particularly vital geese that are capable of grazing. Even today, "Dithmarscher Geflügel GmbH" ensures that they are bred flawlessly. The Dithmarscher goose is characterized by its very good meat-fat-bone ratio and is processed exclusively in the elaborate dry slaughtering process. Wild herbs, grasses, plenty of exercise and a tailor-made climate ensure excellent conditions for rearing.

FREE-RANGE FARMING AS A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

The "Dithmarscher Gans" differs from its imported counterparts in several important quality features. Whichever farm the goose comes from, all partners are committed to species-appropriate rearing in free-range farming conditions. This ensures that the animals have plenty of space to move around, which has a positive effect on the quality of the meat, as does the very time-consuming dry plucking process, in which a large proportion of the feathers are removed by hand after slaughter. And you can taste this quality.
