Our Warehouse Expansion
More space, more structure, more performance for our customers
At Havelland Express, we work every day to take freshness, quality and reliability to the next level for our customers. With our extensive warehouse expansion, we have now reached a milestone that makes exactly that possible: more capacity, more efficiency and more service – noticeable in every single process step.
600 m² of the future: Our new warehouse is growing
The extension adds around 600 m² of new storage space – an increase of 20 %, opening up significantly more possibilities.
In addition, four new deep-freeze levels are being created, enabling around 1,000 additional items and approx. 2 tons of volume per frozen storage area. This allows us to offer a significantly broader and deeper range – a real advantage for gastronomy, where short-term, reliable and flexible ordering is essential.
For our customers, this means:
Even faster order picking, more stable supply chains and reliable availability.
High-tech for quality & sustainability
The new warehouse section is operated with state-of-the-art CO₂ refrigeration technology – a system that reduces emissions by a factor of one hundred compared to previous refrigerants.
This makes our warehouse expansion not only more powerful, but also more sustainable – a plus for both the environment and product quality.
What does this mean for our customers?
-
Greater product availability
Additional storage capacity and optimized logistics allow for a wider and deeper range. -
Faster delivery processes
Efficient routes and modern infrastructure speed up picking and delivery. -
Maximum freshness & quality
New refrigeration technology and optimized processes ensure quality from goods receipt to delivery. -
Sustainable operations
High energy efficiency, PV usage and CO₂ refrigeration technology reduce our ecological footprint.

Flavour Hunters
Pioneers of vertical farming & flavour architects of modern cuisine
In the hills of Bielsko Biała, Poland, the fascinating journey of Flavour Hunters begins, founded by Michael and Jacob. What grows here are not simple herbs or decorations, but aromas that transform dishes, give ingredients character and inspire chefs all across Europe.
More than producers – an innovation lab for flavour
Working with Flavour Hunters shows every day what passion and precision can achieve. In their hydroponic indoor farms, microgreens, baby leaves and edible flowers grow sustainably, resource-efficiently and year-round in consistently high quality – without soil, in closed water cycles, with modern lighting and precise control of temperature, humidity and nutrients.
Advantages of vertical farming:
- Freshness all year round
- Purity without pesticides
- Intense flavours
- Sustainable production with minimal resource consumption
The result is microgreens that impress visually and explode with flavour. Whether cress, shiso, wasabi microgreens or aromatic flowers: each variety has its own character and is cultivated with great care.
A clear advantage for chefs who want more
What makes Flavour Hunters special: their products are not mere decorations, but true flavour enhancers that elevate dishes to a new level. They deliver texture, freshness, colour, acidity, heat, bitterness and aroma – everything modern cuisine needs to inspire.
Why we enjoy working together
It’s not just about the products, but above all their spirit:
- Innovation
- Sustainability
- Quality
- Precision
- Reliability
- Passion for flavour
They share our values and actively drive our vision of fresh, high-quality food.
Looking to the future
With their expertise in vertical farming and their attention to detail, Flavour Hunters are an important partner for our range – today and tomorrow. We look forward to many new varieties, textures and flavours. The journey begins in Bielsko Biała, but ends in the most creative kitchens of Europe.
